Thank you for your interest in the Blues, Views and BBQ competition. We’d like to welcome you to this year’s inaugural event.

  The will be a “two day” event on September 20th and 21st in beautiful Westport, CT overlooking the banks of the Saugatuck River. Not exactly the BBQ Capital of The World but a spectacular setting for our 1st time event.

  On Saturday, after the mandatory cooks meeting, we will have the “Iron Chef” competition. We will be giving all teams participating in this event, the three main ingredients (vegetable, starch, and meat). You will then be allowed to add what ever you want to create your winning entry. You MUST use the three “mystery” items supplied.

  On Saturday there will also be a “Backyard Chef” contest of which we will be asking the professional (KCBS) cooks, such as you, to judge. On Sunday there will be a “Sauce” contest that the KCBS competitors will be competing in. To finish out the weekend, the KCBS categories will be judged on Sunday with judging starting at the standard KCBS times.

  There will be music entertainment throughout... There will also be games and plenty of fun for the kids and families to come and enjoy.

$7,500.00 in cash and prizes!
