Dear Prospective Judge,
Thank you for your interest in the Blues, Views and BBQ competition.
The will be a “two day” event on September 20th and 21st in beautiful Westport, CT overlooking the banks of the Saugatuck River.
On Saturday, after the KCBS cook’s meeting there will be a KBCS competitor “Iron Chef” contest. Also on Saturday, there will be a “Backyard Chef” contest during which we will be asking the professional (KCBS) cooks and judges to help us out. After the backyard contest there will be a “Iron Chef” contest that the KCBS competitors will be competing in. The culmination of the weekend will be the KSBS all category judging starting at the standard KCBS times. We will end the competition with a “Sauce” contest on Sunday.
There will be music and entertainment throughout the entire event. There will also be plenty of fun for the kids and families to come and enjoy.
In closing, we would like to ask for your participation in this year’s inaugural event. We’d love to have you come out and enjoy the entire festival with us as a visitor and a judge.
